PHP/MySQL Internals Engineer

Description

NzbNation is looking for a part time employee with experience in PHP internals and with PHP, MySQL and large scale website development experience. You will be working primarily on adding cool new features to NzbNation.

Responsiblity

• Learn with our current developers to enhance knowledge of PHP/MySql
• Develop familiarity with CakePHP PHP framework, and the jQuery javascript framework
• Help direct site by implementing new technologies

Qualification

• Ideally 3+ years experience with PHP/MySQL/Apache
• Ideally CakePHP framework experience
• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or similar/relevant field preferred
• Knowledge of XML and NZB file formats preferred
• Good programming habits
• Knowledge of MySql optimization
• Willingness to learn and explore
